The Masjid Jamek can be said to be the most ancient mosques in the Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia. It can be found at the confluence of the Klang and Gombak rivers – where Kuala Lumpur’s founders first set foot and where supplies for the tin mines were shipped. and tell what, that white cream masjid had stand for 100 years. Long lasting serve as main masjid (at that time) had make this masjid a historical attraction of Kuala Lumpur. Still been used daily and and nearer for people in Kuala Lumpur to perform solat jamaah. Besides the beautiful scenery the masjid gather a lot attention for passerby to take a rest

Talking about beautiful surrounding the masjid itself built inspired by Moorish Moors architecture.Designed by the British architect AB Hubbock, who sought inspiration from Moghul mosques in India, and built it in Kuala Lumpur.  Across the Klang River stands the Sultan Abdul Samad Building which is located in front of the Dataran Merdeka , a building that was designed by the same architect and shares a similar style. 
 
Masjid Jamek was opened to the public in 1909 by the Sultan of Selangor of that time. The Masjid Jamek is a mosque which was built in two years upon the earliest Malay funeral grounds in Kuala Lumpur. Set in a grove of palm trees, the Masjid Jamek is Kuala Lumpur’s most delightful mosque. Built in 1907, the mosque is a tranquil creation of onion domes and minarets of layered pink and cream bricks.
 
The Masjid Jamek was the foremost mosque during its time, which ended in 1965, when the Masjid Negara was constructed. The Masjid Negara then became the leading mosque in Kuala Lumpur and is now the national mosque of Kuala Lumpur.

its open daily and no admission fare but visitors are advised to observe the rules of dressing and decorum which are listed at the entrance. They need to remove their shoes and must be respectably dressed. Special robes are provided if you are not appropriately attired.

In close proximity also lie the Dataran Merdeka, and the Masjid Jamek LRT station. Masjid Jamek refers to a collection of two metro station named after and situated near Masjid Jamek in central Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Masjid Jamek LRT station has two lines the Sri Petaling Line and the Kelana Jaya Line. This due to easy for people to access Masjid Jamek map area.
